Note: Manatee season in the Crystal River springs is from November through April with the largest Manatee population in the coldest months. The manatees then head back to the gulf once the water starts warming up. Early morning is also when the manatees are most active!

Note: This is not your average state park as it is home to Lu the Hippo, hundreds of different birds, alligators, and even an underwater viewing “fishbowl”. The park is open from 9 am-5:30 (ticketing closes at 4:45) and costs 13 dollars per person

Note: The Ringling is home to hundreds of art and cultural collections! The museum showcases the lives of John and Mable Ringling the history of the Ringling Bros. circus. The museum is free on Mondays, and regular admission ranges from 5 dollars to 25 dollars depending on which tour you are taking.

Note: Beach day! There is a large free parking lot, but it oftentimes fills up early in the day. Near the main beach parking lot you will find bathrooms and concession stands!

Note: After dinner, be sure to walk across the street to watch the sunset on the beach!
